MKD Strategic is a boutique marketing and PR consultancy with one focus: helping great organizations share their stories. We do this by creating compelling, influential content–whether it is a press release, print ad, case study or the perfect words on a website. We combine the best tactics to create effective marketing, advertising and communications campaigns. We make sure your messages both get to and resonate with the people that matter most to you.

We create and manage special events that allow your clients or other key stakeholders to share in a meaningful experience, created by you.

We also provide strategic consulting around existing (or planned) marketing communications efforts, including media plans/advertising buys, PR campaigns, media relations strategies, and lead-generating content marketing programs.

Sean Broderick, Founder & Principal

Sean has spent more than two decades creating content—from advertising copy to news articles—often as part of carefully constructed marketing and public relations plans.

Sean brings a trained journalist’s eye to public relations, providing valuable perspective on how to create compelling stories and get them published. He’s equally adept at marketing strategy and brand development, combining real-world experience as a member of an award-winning full-service marketing agency with the relevance of a master’s degree in Integrated Marketing Communications (West Virginia University, 2013).

As MKD Strategic’s founder, Sean works directly with clients to develop and execute customized marketing and PR plans and oversees all campaign strategy. Sean has experience with a wide variety of businesses and organizations, but has specific expertise in commercial aviation, business aviation, financial services, private secondary schools, healthcare, property development, and associations/non-profit organizations.

Lily Rose, Vice President — Accounts

Lily combines a strategist’s keen insight with a client services expert’s ability to manage relationships and maximize opportunities for her clients.

As the top client manager for a full-service marketing agency, she managed the firm’s largest accounts and played a key role in planning and expanding a signature annual festival from the ground up, helping create an event that draws more than 8,000 people and 150 vendors.

As MKD Strategic’s VP-Accounts, she is the primary contact for the majority of our clients. She also helps create and execute marketing and media plans, manages special events, plans and manages social media campaigns, and writes content.

A trained chef, Lily’s industry expertise includes restaurant/hospitality, property development, financial services, and private secondary schools.
